I've been busy.......
  • November 30, 2006:
    - I was born at 10:03 pm and was 7 pounds 10 ounces and
    was 20 inches long.
    - I loved my mommy right away.  As soon as I saw her I knew I
    was one lucky baby!!!!!!  I could tell that she is beautiful,
    smart, and has a heart of gold.  I was only seconds old but
    already knew there is no better mother anywhere.
    - I also got to meet some of my family.  I met my Great
    Grandma McKenna, my Grandma Lipovsky, and my aunts
    Phyllis and Maureen.
    - Oh..... oh yeah ..... I scored a 9 out of 10 on my Apgar
    test...... (if I do say so myself!!!!  :)

  • December 1, 2006:
    - I got to meet my Grandie Collins.  I got to sit with her for a
    whiIe and she told me how much she loves me and how many
    other people can't wait to meet me.  I must be special girl to
    have soooooooooo many people love me!
    - I also had my first bath.  I didn't like it very much but I think I
    might have fun with it when I'm a bit older.  I'll keep you
    posted.

    - I had so many family and friends come visit me today I don't
    even know where to begin.  I love them all very much.

    - I had my Hep-B shot, my PKU shot, and my Billy test!  I didn't
    like the shots much but I was a trooper.
    - Then I had another bath.  I liked this one a bit better
    because it was a sponge bath.  I think I could get used to this!
    - Mommy and Daddy took me home from the hospital.  It was
    cold out my mommy dressed me warmly.  The song "Cruisin' "
    was on the radio on the way home and we all grooved out.  I
    got to see my house and bedroom for the first time......  I love
    it here!

  • December 3, 2006:
    - I got to sleep in my bassinet for the first time and wake to
    spend time with my Grandma Lipovsky and my Great
    Grandma McKenna.  Unfortunately my Grandmas had to fly
    home to Cincinnati today.  I will miss them but can't wait to
    see them in Ohio before long!

  • December 4, 2006:
    - I made my first visit to my pediatrician, Dr. Houston, today.  
    She said that my color is perfect and that I look very alert and
    healthy.  Her only advice was that I should keep eating.  No
    problem, Doc :)

  • December 5, 2006:
    - Mom and Dad gave me my first bath at home today.  Have
    to admit, I'm not the hugest fan of baths but it is nice to be
    clean.. It tired me out though so I took my first nap in my crib.  
    Comfy!  Today Mom, Dad and I hung our stockings for St.
    Nick.  Hope he comes!

  • December 6, 2006:
    - St. Nick DID come!  He brought me a cute stuffed animal
    and Grandma Lipovsky somehow left me a gift certificate to
    Poor Boys diner.  What a fun surprise!  I went back to visit Dr.
    Houston today and she told me my weight is great.  Mom and
    Dad are very happy.

  • December 7, 2006:
    - Today I got to meet Tim, Maureen, Dolan and Garrett
    McCarthy.  We had so much fun visiting.  Oh, and guess
    what.. I'm one week old!  Mom and Dad had Grandma
    Lipovsky's Good Chicken for dinner tonight and they sure
    seemed happy.

  • December 8, 2006:
    - I woke up this morning and my umbilical cord had fallen off.  
    Look how fast I'm growing up.  I can't tell yet if I'm going to
    have an 'innie' or an 'outie'.  Uncle Nick came to visit me this
    evening.  He sure is tall!

  • December 9, 2006:
    - Grandie came to visit me today.  Mom and Dad took a drive
    so I got to hang out with Grandie.  Later on she made some
    American Chop Suey for us and my dad was sure happy.  

  • December 10, 2006:
    - I tried my swing for the first time today and I got to cuddle
    with Mom and Dad.

  • December 11, 2006:
    - Daddy had to go to work today (for the first time ever as far
    as I'm concerned).  I missed him but Mom and I did hang out
    and cuddle.  She seems to like Gilmore Girls.

  • December 13, 2006:
    - Daddy worked from home today.  Beds are for the birds.. I
    like sleeping in my car seat!

  • December 15, 2006:
    - Dad was working at home again today.  I do love having him
    around.  He and mom gave me a real bath today now that I'm
    allowed to be in the water and everything.  Am still not a big
    fan of bath time.. but I am over two weeks old!

  • December 16, 2006:
    - Today was a great day.  We got our Christmas tree, I got to
    meet Kim and Chalee, and the weather was so warm that I got
    to go on my first outdoor walk!  My stroller is comfy.

  • December 17, 2006:
    - Aunts Maureen and Phyllis came to visit.  I had a great time
    with them and they brought me my first Christmas present.  
    They even let me open it early and model my new outfit!!  I'm
    a star.
